Rob Ford, Toronto Mayor is Toast

Rob Ford was on the radio again today addressing his faithful.

According to police reports Rob Ford has been associating with the wrong kind of people, and the evidence suggests he is both addicted to alcohol and perhaps other harder drugs (like crack cocaine), and has been involved in an alleged extortion case with his sometimes “driver” Alexander Lisi.

Lisi has been charged with various fairly serious offences, and Ford is implicated by surveillance done by he police over the last few months.

How Ford will squirm out of this one is hard to imagine. And how his often zealous supports will continue to support him will be very interesting indeed. Ford has made himself the target of police investigations and vulnerability to blackmail. This guy should not be mayor of Toronto any longer.
